Pregnancy is radiant and first time moms are so fun! There is so much anticipation, so much wonder, so much love that no one but an expectant mother can understand. Kate was so simply gorgeous during her pregnancy with Parker! I (Lori) was beyond excited when she asked us to photograph her belly portraits because I’ve known Kate since we were in middle school. Now we both know the joys of having little boys (and I’m adding a second one to my crew in late Oct). During our intimate garden portrait session, we were able to share the joys and woes that come with pregnancy. Kate was around 30 weeks for this portrait session, which is a great time to get the fullness of the belly and just before mom starts to become miserable (Believe me, I know from personal experience!). Belly portraits are definitely one of my favorite life events to capture. It is such a brief, yet special time for mom and dad.
